    ORDERS - GENERAL INFORMATION

    No membership or password is required to make a purchase from Scandiwall, but in order to shop online you must be at least 18 years of age, or have the permission of your parent/guardian. The prices are specified in the currency chosen, 25% VAT included with the exception of Norway where prices do not include VAT. You can make your purchase easily and conveniently directly in our web shop and the products will be delivered by your local mail service, or special delivery, if you have chosen that option.

    Upon delivery to Norway, Åland and other non EU countries you will not be charged Swedish VAT but you are responsible for any domestic tax, VAT and customs clearance fees. Check with your local post office or customs authority for information.

     

    DELIVERY TIME & SHIPPING

    SWEDEN

    We apply a flat rate (SEK 79) within Sweden regardless of size and number of items. (Does not apply to pallet deliveries). Our canvas prints are typically delivered within 3-5 working days (non-standard size), wallpaper murals within 3-4 working days and photography within 10-14 days.

    Deleivery to Northern Europe and distant locations might be longer due to the transportation service. Your delivery will be sent to your nearest local agent.

    A flat rate is applied within EU, Norway and Åland, regardless of size and number of items. (Does not apply to pallet deliveries)

    Our canvas prints are normally delivered within 5-9 working days, photo wallpaper 4-5 (non-standard size) working days and photography within 12-16 business days.     OUTSIDE EU, NORWAY & ÅLAND

    A flat rate (USD 106,69 no VAT) is applied outside EU, Norway and Åland, regardless of size and number of items. (Does not apply to pallet deliveries)

    GOODS NOT COLLECTED

    For a shipment that is not collected by the customer, Scandiwall will bill the full value of the order, including costs such as shipping and invoice fees to cover our expenses in material, labour, transport and administration costs.

     

    PAYMENT OPTIONS

    CREDIT CARD - VISA or Master/Eurocard

    We cooperate with PayEx, the leading supplier of online payment services in the Nordic countries. PayEx's payment services meet all international security requirements and are PCI certified (Payment Card Industry).

    INVOICE via Klarna with 14 day payment terms

    We cooperate with Klarna to offer you a safe and smooth payment service. Invoices are paid within 14 days from ordering. The invoices are sent by post and are paid by postal or bank giro.

    INSTALMENT PLAN via Klarna Konto

    An instalment plan with Klarna Konto. You decide how much you want to pay each month, from SEK 50/month or 1/24th of the total amount. The amount can be paid in full at any time.

     

     

    COOLING OFF PERIOD & FAULTY GOODS

    COOLING OFF PERIOD

    As each wallpaper and canvas print is made to measure and manufactured at request, the cooling off period according to the consumer rights law does not apply. The reason for this is that the product is made to measure with a clear personal stamp.

     

    Cooling off period - wallpaper rolls

    Every roll of wallpaper produced belongs to a unique batch of papers dyed in the same dye bath. This means that varying degrees of colour differences may occur between batches owing to the unique colour composition of each dye bath. Therefore, we would like that you as a customer notify us and send any returns within 1 week from the date that you received the rolls of wallpaper so that we can ensure that they can be sold on, together with rolls from the same batch. 

    It is also a good idea to consider this when ordering. It is better to order too much than too little to ensure against ordering extra rolls later. If you need to order extra rolls, you may find they come from a different batch and have a slight colour difference as a consequence. You are most welcome to contact our customer service for samples before ordering or, of course, to visit our store.

    If you would like to use your right to cancel your purchase, contact us as soon as possible via email or telephone so that we can confirm your return.  Do not return any products to Familywallpapers without first contacting our customer service.

    We only accept complete and unopened rolls of wallpaper in return.

    When using the right to cancel a purchase the customer is responsible for return shipping. If you are returning a product from a country outside the EU, be sure to make a note on the customs documents that, the product is being returned/cancelled purchase.


    GUARANTEE & FAULTY GOODS

    We hope that every customer will be completely satisfied with their purchase. However, if you need to return a product the following rules apply:

    Scandiwall grants 1 year guarantee against manufacturing defects on all products. The guarantee does not apply to defects due to wear and tear, incorrect installation or negligence.

    Our images are quality assured and manufactured of the highest quality material in appropriate production facilities. In order to ensure a product free from defects we have built-in quality checks during the entire manufacturing process.

    However, we recommend that you always check the product before installation to make sure that it is free from manufacturing defects or transport damages. This is particularly important for our wall papers, as we do not reimburse any costs due to repapering or improper installed wall papers.

    We also recommend our customers to use a glue appropriate for wall papers of non-woven quality. Ask your local retail shop if you are unsure. If a different glue has been used we cannot guarantee the result.

    It is also important to be aware of the fact that images and photographs may vary in hue, shade and resolution depending on different light conditions and the performance of different computer screens. Unfortunately, we are not able to cater for, or take responsible for, differences between the image on the computer display and the delivered product.

     

    COMPLAINTS & RETURNS

    In case of a faulty product, please send us a short description enclosing any documentation and a photo to customerservice@scandiwall.com. We will contact you within 1 working day with instructions. Please do not return any products to Scandiwall without first contacting our customer service.

    Manufacturing defects or transport damages are replaced with a new product free of charge.

    In accordance with the Consumer Purchases Act any claims regarding a manufacturing defect on a product must be submitted within 3 years. Complaints must be submitted within a reasonable time upon the detection of the defect. If a manufacturing defect complaint is submitted after the expiration of the guarantee period, the burden of proof switches to the buyer.

     

    OTHER INFORMATION

    In order to guarantee a good end result it is important that the enclosed installation instructions are followed. Non-woven wall paper are considered easy to hang, however if you are uncertain of your ability, we recommend you employ a professional.

    We reserve the right not to be responsible for misprints, the correctness of the information, or any errors in specifications of all our products and services.

    All image information on our pages is to be viewed as illustrations, and we cannot guarantee that the image reflects the exact look or properties of the product.

     

    OTHER CONDITIONS

    The customer is responsible for the image copyright when uploading pictures. We reserve the right to refuse production of images that we deem inappropriate.

    None of the images from Scandiwall's product selection may be reproduced or in any other way used for commercial purposes without a written consent from Scandiwall.

    The wallpaper is easy to install, but if you don't feel confident about doing it yourself, you should have a professional install it. These instructions are also available in a PDF file and are always included with every delivery.
